Capstone North carers enjoyed the Cinderella Panto!

25th February, 2020

Recently, our Bradford children and carers were treated to see the production of 'Cinderella' at Yeadon Hall as part of their annual trip to the pantomime. Everyone was really looking forward to the show and it did not disappoint, even though it was 3 hours long. Our children and young people did excellently well and seemed enthralled in the story and the characters, and even joined in with the audience and cast which was nice to see. The seats were great, only a few rows from the front which meant that everyone had a good view of the stage. During the short interval, it gave our carers the opportunity to catch up with one another whilst enjoying their complimentary ice lollies. After the show, everyone had the opportunity to get photos with the cast members in the foyer which the children really enjoyed. The show provided continuous entertainment with plenty of fun and laughter for all ages. What is really nice about these kinds of gatherings is that it gives children and their families to come together and socialise with those in a similar position to themselves. The show was a great success and everyone really appreciated the hard work and effort that went into the production. All the children and young people were very respectful and showed thanks during the show by applauding the actors and for including them in the humour and traditions. The story of Cinderella and the production really gave our children and young people the belief and aspiration that they 'can do' what they set themselves to achieve with people of different ages, genders and abilities all performing on stage.
