We are currently recruiting foster carers in the Somerset area
To be a foster carer you need energy, resilience, patience and commitment to provide a safe and nurturing home for a vulnerable child or young person. If you have a spare room available, you could make a huge difference in a child’s life by helping them to rebuild their life.
We are particularly looking for carers in Weston-Super-Mare, Trowbridge, Taunton and Bath.
Why choose Capstone Foster Care?
We offer excellent training and support to you as you will be an integral part of the ‘Team around the Child’ building better futures for vulnerable children and young adults. On call support is available 24/7.
We have very positive working relationships with all of the Local Authorities in the area and have successful tenders in place, which means we are one of the first to be considered when matching a child to a foster carer.
Support for foster carers in Somerset
If you live in Somerset, then our nearest office to you is just outside Frome where most of the carer training takes place and support groups meet. We also meet near Taunton for those carers who live in that part of Somerset.
The Somerset office has a friendly, caring and highly professional team of social workers, a social pedagogue, an education support coordinator and an excellent administrator. We are all linked by our shared passion to achieve good futures for children and give first-class support for our foster carers.
Our main contact person for all new carer enquiries in the South West is Gill Cheadle and you can reach her on 01626 323 847. Gill will be very happy to answer your queries and give you further information about fostering.
