We’re looking for foster carers in Falmouth
Ever thought about Fostering in Falmouth? Our team are looking for more carers in the Falmouth area. There is a particular need in this area to find foster carers who can support over 10 year olds and parent and child.
What is parent and child?
This can be a really rewarding placement where the foster carer usually supports a young mum to look after her baby. The foster carer will support mum and monitor her progress regularly to support her baby. We provide specialist training , and the placement is subject to criteria. As with all of our other fostering placements, support is available 24/7 from our team of expert social workers for anyone who decides to start fostering in Falmouth.
Can I start fostering in Falmouth?
If you are looking to have a beneficial and supportive impact on a child’s life and your own children are older or have left home, then we would like to hear from you. If you have more than one spare room, we are being asked to place sibling groups in the younger age group with foster families that meet matching requirements.
What we look for in foster carers:
- You will need vitality, patience, dedication and understanding
- You have the physical and emotional resilience to care for a child
- You are prepared for a challenge and want to help a child or young person build a positive future
