Some of our South West team headed over to Legoland at the beginning of August 2021. Capstone were very fortunate to be gifted some tickets from Merlin’s Magic Wand Charity so that we could take some of our amazing foster carers, young people, children who foster and staff out for the day. We had roughly 80 people in attendance, which was a wonderful turn out to make memories for the day.
Our families and staff spent the whole day exploring Legoland and going on as many rides as they could possibly fit in! Our staff raced to the water rides first, so that they could enjoy them and then have the rest of the day to dry off. The group then met for a picnic lunch to socialise and to welcome our new carers, which was a really lovely part to the day. Then we spent the rest of the day and evening exploring the rest of the park and rides until it was time to head home. A really great day was had by all, and we were so happy to share in some of the incredible memories that were made by our fostering families.
