Our Legacy of Care

For over 18 years, Foster Care UK has been providing safe and nurturing foster homes to children across the South East of England. With our dedicated team of professionals and a remarkable network of foster parents, we’ve created a community that we’re incredibly proud of.

Since 2007, our aim has been to find loving foster families for children in care across London, Kent and Sussex – and that mission remains the same. So, whilst our name may have changed, our values, people, and purpose remain the same.

Whilst we’re now known as Capstone Foster Care UK, our journey together continues as it has done since 2007. But now, there are even more opportunities to grow, connect, and make a lasting impact on the lives of young children across the UK. With unwavering support, ongoing training opportunities, and 24/7 availability, we’re excited to see what the future holds for our ever-growing community at Capstone Foster Care UK.

Thinking of fostering? At Capstone Foster Care UK, we go above and beyond to support our carers through every part of their fostering journey. So whether you’re just starting out or you’ve fostered before, we’re here to make your experience a rewarding one. Here are some of our unique offerings and why they encourage carers to foster with us:

• Trauma Informed Care - our focus is enabling children to heal, develop and thrive. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest level of care with tried and tested tools and resources, from PACE and DDP training to our in-house CAMHS team.
• Capstone Care Leavers Trust - we don’t stop supporting young people at 18. Our charity, the Capstone Care Leavers Trust, provides grants to young people up to the age of 25, whether that’s for tuition fees, driving lessons or securing their first tenancy.
• Employee-Owned Trust - we are not owned by private equity or private individuals, allowing us to focus resources solely on our foster carers, young people and team.
• Outstanding Support – from exceptional social workers to support for birth children, our support is extensive. So, you can always trust Capstone Foster Care UK to prioritise the wellbeing of our carers and young people.
