Beat the lockdown boredom!

25th January, 2021

Being stuck at home isn't ideal, and at times can feel very boring when you are struggling to find things to do. We have put together a list of things you can do to beat the lockdown boredom! View the fun actitvities below:

1.     Race each other in cardboard cars:

If you have pieces of carboard around the house, why not put them to good use by creating your own carboard cars! This activity can keep the whole family entertained for the whole afternoon and will allow your children to explore their imaginations. Click here to find out to create your cardboard car.

2.     Play hide and seek

See who can find the best hiding spots in the house, this game is fun and easy, another game the whole family will love. No matter what your age is, there is better thrill than being the best at hide and seek!

3.     Plant some seeds

Whether you are a big lover of gardening or you are just starting out, your children will enjoy learning more about gardening and growing their own plants. The great thing about this activity is that you can care for the plants all year long and see their amazing progress.

4.     Collect and paint rocks

Whilst on your daily walk, why not collect some rocks to paint some colourful pictures onto them. You can have a craft day and paint your favourite cartoon characters onto your rocks. If you feel like sharing, paint your rocks and then place them somewhere along your walk for someone else to find.

5.     Try indoor camping

Try building a fort in the living room with your duvets and pillows and have a go at indoor camping! The bonus about indoor camping is that you can get cosy and watch your favourite films whilst chilling inside your indoor tent.
