This year at Capstone North, we decided that we needed a little help with the design of our Christmas card that would be sent out to all of our amazing foster carers. We had a fantastic response from our children and many of them got involved. They were encouraged to make their entry as creative as possible, which led to us receiving a variety of handmade cards, collages and even drawings. The children were asked to create a picture of what Christmas meant to them and it was incredibly difficult to pick a winner because all of the entries were so good in their own way. Christmas isn’t always a happy time for everyone, especially children in care. However, after much deliberation, ‘A’ was the chosen winner with her lovely design that read “Celebrations come and go but it is the memory of laughter among friends & family that endures”. Thank you to all of the children that took part. They all received a selection box and ‘A’ received a gift voucher. Congratulations! On behalf of the team at Capstone North, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2020!
