Supervising Social Worker - Worcestershire

An opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team as a Supervising Social Worker looking after a manageable caseload of foster families.

Working for the Ofsted "OUTSTANDING" Midlands region of Capstone Foster Care as a Supervising Social Worker you will have the unique opportunity to work for a company that is owned by it's employees, as an Employee Ownership Trust. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be looking after a very manageable caseload of foster families within the Worcestershire area. Working in partnership with other team members to provide a high quality and safe service for our foster families and the children/young people they look after.

The position is home based with the expectation to attend the Stoke Prior Office in Worcestershire.

Applicants will have:

  • A relevant Social Work qualification and be SWE registered
  • Have fostering social work experience 
  • Able to prioritise and manage workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of fostering and childcare legislation
  • Be eligible to work within the UK
