We have an exciting opportunity to join our enthusiastic and motivated team to support amazing foster carers who provide excellent family experiences for children and young people. As a Senior Practitioner you will lead by example, be child focused with excellent communication skills. Working in partnership with other team members to provide a high quality and safe service for our foster families and the children/young people they look after across Bristol & Somerset.

As a Senior Practitioner we are looking for:

  • A qualified Social Worker and SWE registered
  • Understanding and experience of safeguarding policy and procedures
  • Understanding of quality assurance and compliance checks
  • Experience of dealing with a crisis effectively.
  • Knowledge of fostering and childcare legislation
  • Be able to be flexible to occasionally work evenings and weekends
  • Be eligible to work within the UK.
  • Current driving licence and access to transport
