Part Time Contract
Capstone Foster Care have developed a Multidisciplinary Assessment & Treatment Service (MATS) which provides assessment, consultation and treatment to children and young people looked after in their fostering services. MATS is led by an employed Consultant Psychotherapist and the team comprises Psychology, Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy and Clinical Nurse Specialists.
Team members are self employed and are commissioned to undertake specific pieces of assessment and intervention.
We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Child & Adolescent Psychotherapists or similar registered professionals to join the team. Experience of working with looked after children, and with Early Developmental Trauma is essential. CAMHS experience is desirable. Work may include undertaking clinical support to the foster carers and to the professional network, as well as undertaking specialist assessment of the child or young person and offering direct intervention. This is a unique, multidisciplinary service working in an adaptive and responsive way, to support children and young people within their foster family.
