Accounts Assistant

An opportunity has arisen to join the finance team of a forward thinking, successful and rapidly growing business. We are keen to strengthen our team with a strong Accounts Assistant to support the business with the provision of accurate management information and bookkeeping services.

We are keen to strengthen our finance team with the addition of a strong Accounts Assistant to support the business with the provision of accurate management information and bookkeeping services.

Reporting to the Assistant Accountant responsibilities in this newly created role will include:

  • Processing of Carer Payments and associated Customer Billing
  • Sales Ledger, including import of Sales Invoices
  • Processing Supplier Invoices and Payments
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Processing of Staff Payrolls as required
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations across the Group Companies
  • Other General Accounting related tasks

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of the responsibilities listed above
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts and ideally Sage Payroll
  • Hold AAT Level 3 qualification or higher, keen to improve their career prospects in this rapidly developing sector
  • Be able to work using your own initiative and also as part of a team
  • A confident communicator, looking to add value to the team and it’s processes
