Sexuality & Sexual Health

4 hour course

As part of the corporate parenting role, social services have a responsibility to ensure all young people in their care receive high quality sex and relationships education and that they have the confidence to access contraception, sexual health and development services. This means foster carers also have a responsibility to provide appropriate information and support to promote the young person’s positive sexual health. This course focuses on many aspects of sexual health, development and relationships, providing practical information and resources which can be accessed to support young people in care.
