What our foster carers say
As soon as we met with Capstone Foster Care we knew they were the right agency for us. Their whole ethos is centred around the children and the carers. This ethos continued as we met supportive and friendly staff. Support is readily available as are numerous training sessions to ensure that our knowledge and therefore our experience and confidence continue to grow. All of this for us has equalled a positive fostering experience for us as carers and the children that we care for.

Children we support
Children of all ages and backgrounds come into care for lots of different reasons. It’s usual for siblings to require support together. We tend to support over 5s, quite often teens. If you would like to foster babies we recommend speaking to your local authority. Although, we do get lots of requests to support parent and child. This is usually a foster placement where a foster carer supports a young mum to care for her baby.

Would you like to know more about fostering?
If you live in or near Bristol, then our nearest office to you is in Berkeley. Our main contact person for all new carer enquiries is Emily who is based at our Gloucester office and you can reach her on 01454 423 820 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Emily will be able to answer many of your questions and give you further information about what being a foster carer involves.
Bristol is a fantastic place to support a child to enjoy new experiences. Spend a day at Bristol Zoo Gardens where there is a vast animal kingdom, an aerial ropes course and a Gorilla island house! Hengrove Park is a great place to spend some time if the child you support enjoys skateboarding. Or why not mix fashion with history at the Fashion Museum in Bath, which takes fashion from present day to the 17th Century – the kids can even try on replica Victorian dress!
