Fostering London

Are you looking for a new career? Are you in good health? Do you have a spare bedroom? We need you. Capstone is recruiting people from a multitude of backgrounds. The children we support across London are diverse, unique and in need of stability and support. Sometimes they are alone, but often brothers and sisters require foster care together.

Ages can vary too. We usually support children who are older than five, but that’s not always the case. We’re getting lots of requests to support young mothers with babies. Sometimes our placements require short-term care, sometimes it’s longer term. Every referral is different.

You can do this job without skills or qualifications. We offer training and support to help carers pursue all types of fostering. We are willing to consider people who have flexible working hours as well as full time at home. If you are ready for a challenge and want to make a difference, then give us a call so we can answer any questions you may have about looking after London kids in care. There are financial benefits as well as the emotional benefits of knowing that you are contributing to the wellbeing of a young person.

Being a carer is not always easy, but at Capstone Foster Care, we are realistic about the challenges, train you to understand your foster child and how to respond to their needs, and to promote the well-being not only of the child but also of you and your family so that your home is a safe and happy environment.

Our job is to recruit, train and support foster parents who can provide short or long-term parenting to disadvantaged children. These kids may go back to their family at some stage but they may not. Our job is to give them the best possible care while they are away from their family.

Here is a short guide to fostering:

You need to have a spare bedroom, patience and good health to enter into this challenging and rewarding career. We provide training and 24 hour support. Together we are a team that provides a second chance at a life with very positive outcomes for vulnerable children who have been removed from their birth families or who have otherwise lost the safety and security of their own family.

Capstone is a well-established agency operating across most parts of England. We are an independent fostering agency with approximately 100 staff and 500 carers. We have offices across England and each office maintains a family friendly feel. We can offer the best of both worlds – the resources and expertise of a large agency but the personal feel and local support which most carers really value and appreciate.

Contact us if you would like to know more about becoming part of our team. We are actively recruiting. Either send us an online enquiry form today so we can get in touch with you or you can speak to Fiona who will answer your questions and help you know if you can foster on 01322 629 260.
