Could you foster in Liskeard?
We are currently recruiting foster carers in the Liskeard area and in particular those that are interested in Parent & Child placements.
Parent & Child placements are time limited to approximately 3 months. This is an intensive piece of work where the carer has to integrate a family unit within their own family, whilst at the same time helping to support, educate and encourage parent(s) in their parenting role.
What we look for in foster carers
- You will need vitality, patience, dedication and understanding
- You will have the physical and emotional space for a child
- You want to help a child or young person build a positive future

Carers have access 24/7 to a social worker who knows them and their placement(s) and they meet regularly.
