If you live in Oldham, or the surrounding area and have ever thought about fostering, we urge you to enquire and find out if it’s right for you.
Sometimes children come into care alone, but often brothers and sisters require foster care together. We usually support children who are older than five. Sadly, the children we support have been through trauma and display challenging behaviours as a result of their experiences. We are looking for foster carers who can help children get through a tough time.
We have lots of mother and babies who need foster care. In these parent and child placements, mum often needs a bit of help and guidance to look after her baby. To do this we offer specialised training. If you’d like to foster babies or under 5’s, it’s better to contact your local authority as they usually resource foster carers in house to look after young children.
