Thinking of fostering?
Call us

0800 012 4004

Our close-knit team is experienced and passionate about supporting all our foster carers, and takes the time to get to know all our fostering families so they feel part of our team.

We organise events throughout the year for all children and carers to attend. Recent events have included trips to Wingham Wildlife Park, Pantomimes and skiing.

We also host regular training and support groups where foster carers are invited to come along and meet with the team to share their fostering journey with us. Our regular training courses cover a variety of subjects including Sexual Exploitation, First Aid, Safer care and are held at our local community centres.

There are many different types of fostering required in the UK and we work hard to match children with the right family and strongly believe in building brighter futures for both the children and foster carer so everyone has a positive experience.

At this office we have a small friendly team of 4 staff members, an Office Manager, Regional Training Co-ordinator, Team Manager and a Senior Supervising Social Worker. Our small team has been working together for over 8 years now, which has enabled us to really get to know each other and gel together.

Alison has been in the role of Office Manager for a number of years and as well as the usual Office skills, has an HR Qualification. Ali’s role is varied as she oversees the many different Audits, which are vital to the smooth running of the Agency, along with keeping tabs on Annual Reviews and the numerous forms that are required. On a personal note Ali has a six-year-old son who keeps her very active when she’s not at work.

Helen organises and creates the training programmes for our carers across the South East, and oversees the booking system. This happens twice a year and she continually monitors how training is running and evaluates ways in which it could be improved.

We offer the best possible advice and support for all our Foster Carers, so if you’re looking to start a new career and becoming a foster carer is something you are interested in, or if you are already a carer interested in transferring to a better agency in the South East, please give Capstone Independent Fostering Agency a call on 01303 661 014 or simply click here.
