Capstone Foster Care have developed a Multidisciplinary Assessment Treatment and Therapy Service (MATTS) which provides assessment, consultation and treatment to children and young people looked after in their fostering services. MATTS is led by an employed Clinical Lead and the team will comprise (but not limited to) Psychology, Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Creative Arts Therapists.

Team members are self employed and are commissioned to undertake specific pieces of assessment and intervention.

We are looking for:

  • DDP Practitioners
  • EMDR Practitioners
  • Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists
  • Clinical and Educational Psychologists
  • Creative Arts Therapists (Art, Drama, Music)
  • Dance Movement Psychotherapists
  • Eco/Environmental Therapists
  • Family or Multisystemic Therapists
  • Occupational Therapists with sensory integration training
  • Play, Filial and Theraplay Therapists
  • Prescribing Nurses
  • Therapeutic Life Story Workers
  • Speech and Languages Therapists

Work could include undertaking clinical support to the foster carers and to the professional network, as well as undertaking specialist assessment of the child or young person and offering direct intervention. This is a unique, multidisciplinary service working in an adaptive and responsive way, to support children and young people within their foster family.
