About Fostering
Becoming a Foster Carer - What it involves
So ring Gill on 0845 872 0650
- You don’t need GCSEs to become a professional carer – but you do need energy and commitment – and a sense of humour is a great asset!
- In theory anyone can do this work – and yet it is a very skilled, professional job that you do. So, you may be single, married, divorced or in a partnership, living in a mansion or a council house, with homegrown children or none, with all the energy that being younger assumes, or all the wisdom that nearing retirement brings.
- What you do certainly need is a spare room available (each placed child needs their own bedroom).
- If you're interested, the first step is to contact us and talk informally to one of our team (some of our team of managers and therapists have also been foster carers so we can talk from first-hand experience)
We urgently require foster carers in the following locations...
- Bristol
- Exeter
- Gloucester
- Launceston
- Portsmouth
- Southampton
- Swindon
- Taunton
and other locations across the South West. Click here for more information or call 0845 872 0650.
