What happens next

Once you have been approved and registered as a foster carer, your fostering career can begin.

Matching you with the right child/children may not happen immediately, but careful matching means less likelihood of a placement breaking down at a later date.

There is currently a shortage of good carers in the Midlands. We would expect to be able to put your name forward as a suitable carer within a very short timeframe.
